Målgrupp |
Students on CEFR levels B1. Students of all programmes and faculties, students in the flexible study rights scheme (JOO), international students, non-university learners. Partially fulfils the foreign language requirement in the degree. |
Timing |
Starting level approximately CEFR B1 (higher). Have finished HSK5 level learning. |
Kunskapsmål |
After completing the course, students are expected to be able to:
- Read contemporary classical essays ;
- Read short novels;
- Read news reporting ;
- Read basic scientific reports;
- Read some classical literature.

Studieavsnittets form |
This is a contact learning course with 28 hours and 26 hours independent work. To complete the course at least 75% active participation in the course and completion of the agreed tasks by the deadline is required.
Exam (in the forms oral presentation & written essay) 50%; Class attendance & participation 30%; Assignment 20%. |

Starting level approximately CEFR B1 (higher). Have finished HSK5 learning, completed KK-KII304 Advanced Chinese 4 course as example; or have completed 4 years Chinese learning at least. If you are uncertain about your CEFR level, contact the teacher before sign up. |
Innehåll |
This course will train students reading capacities and speed, familiarize students with different types of authentic reading materials, also train students’ ability to read authentic Chinese literature and appreciate the work of established authors. |

Reading and discussion, group projects as well as independent work (home assignments, essays). |
Bedömningsmetoder och kriterier |
Assessment is based on the aspects mentioned under the course learning outcomes and consists of assignments, participation and performance in classroom activities, presentation and final exam. 1. At least 75% class attendance is required. 2. Complete the homework at the required time. 3. Pass the exams of the course. The course is graded as pass/fail. |
