Learning outcomes 

After completing the course, students will

• Be proficient in the basic grammatical constructs
• Be able to use Russian in various situations increasingly accurately and diversely, as well as read texts more fluently

Completion methods 

The course is implemented as a supervised self-learning course. Students will independently complete course assignments and receive personal supervision during tutor meetings.

A total of approximately 80 hours of study.


Starting level: CEFR A2 (PDF)

Advanced Course in Russian 3 at the Language Centre or corresponding skills. The course can also be completed alongside Advanced Course in Russian 3.



• The use of singular and plural cases for nouns, adjectives and pronouns
• Numerals
• Verb aspects and tenses, conditional, imperative, use of the infinitive, ся verbs
• Motion verbs with and without prefixes
• Participles and gerunds
• Passive voice
