Target group 

Students of all faculties, students in the flexible study rights scheme (JOO).

Learning outcomes 
  • To improve oral skills in various communicative situations
  • To become more confident in expressing oneself orally
  • To activate and expand one’s vocabulary
  • To become acquainted with Spanish-language instruction
Completion methods 

•    Regular and active participation in classroom work
•    Home assignments
•    28 hours of contact teaching and 26 hours of independent study
•    Minimum course attendance: 75%


Starting level: CEFR A1 (pdf)

Spanish for beginners 1 arranged by the Language Centre, or equivalent skills.


Topics: everyday life, studies, hobbies, travel, food, etc.

Skills practised: mainly speaking and listening

Form of activities: work in pairs ang groups

Study materials and literature 

To be handed out in class.

Assessment practices and criteria 

Evaluation is based on the aspects mentioned under the course objectives and completion.
